Activities in opencast mining
MINSTROY realizes strip-minig projects for the production of minerals and building materials,
including:
-
excavation of boxcuts, trenches and benches and construction of road, railway
and conveyor network;
-
preliminary activities, assuring opencast mining, such as: hydroengineering systems
- canals, siphons, river-bed corrections, reservoirs;
-
mounting of bucket wheel excavators, bucket chain excavators and spreaders without
limitation on their weight and capacity;
-
installation of belt conveyor transportation systems (mobile or stationary) without
limitation of their length and width;
-
building and installation of al necessary serice facilities for the opencast
mining;
-
liquidation of opencast mines and rehabilitation of the worked-out area
-
all necessary maintenace, service and repairs facilities, connected with the
opencast mining

Other activities as drainage canals, water catchments, dams, hydro-engineering
installations, pipelines, pump stations, buildings, roads and accompanying communication
network were executed.
Ash pile "Kamenik" of Bobov Dol Thermoelectric Power Plant
Assemblage of unique belt-conveyor for ash transportation with the following
characteristics: length of 5 000 m, width of 1400 mm, two horizontal curves, tilt
up to 12°, original belt-tipping device, automatic belt tensioning.
Mines
Kous, Zlaten Dol and Viatovo with capacity of 980 000 tons of caolin per year.
Quarries
Chernevo, Delyan and kozyaka for dolomites.
Macedonia
Suvodol mine, Bitolya – excavation of boxcuts and overburden removal.
Rzhanovo Fenimac mine – stripping operations, reaching up to 1 500 000 m3 annualy
for the production of 800 000 tons annualy of iron-nickel ore. |
